Nottingham Digital Summit 21 June 2018

The Nottingham Digital Summit

The Summit brings together more than 700 of the region’s marketing, creative and technical professionals with the goal of raising more than £20,000 to fund the Samaritans work in helping people to avoid the emotional crisis that can lead to suicide.
The Summit takes place on 3 July at the Nottingham Playhouse and Albert Hall. Hallam is asking attendees to make a donation to The Samaritans in lieu of conference fees.
Over 30 leading digital marketers from Jaguar Land Rover, Saint Gobain, Google, Experian and Adobe will be sharing best practice tips and techniques for marketing in a digital world. The Editor of WIRED Magazine will be delivering a keynote address, and we will be welcoming the Marketing Manager from BuzzSumo who is flying in from New York to speak.
There will be three concurrent tracks this year for delegates to choose from, covering topics including Account Based Marketing (ABM), Search Engine Optimisation, Creative Campaigns, UX and UI, Data Driven Campaigns, Customer Journeys and User Experience.

Chris Shilling, Deputy of Nottingham Samaritans comments “We are so grateful that Hallam have chosen The Samaritans of Nottingham to raise money for our vital work. Every single day there are people who decide to end their own lives. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy. And our volunteers are here to make sure there is always someone there, for anyone who needs someone. We want to thank Hallam for raising vital funds that will assist us in our vision that fewer people die by suicide.”
“Hallam is proud to support The Samaritans as our charity of the year. And by organising The Nottingham Summit we are able to involve the wider Midlands business community in raising funds for this charity which is close to all of our hearts. Samaritans answer a call for help ever six seconds, and volunteers provide an indispensable safety net for vulnerable people 24 hours a day, 365 days a year,” said Susan Hallam MBE, Summit organiser and Founder and CEO of Hallam.
This is Hallam’s second annual Nottingham Digital Summit. Last year’s Summit raised £15,280 for Framework Housing Association, addressing homelessness and the causes of homelessness.
